SportsTown is excited to offer Tee Ball for kids ages 3-6 years old!
HOW LONG IS EACH CLASS?
Classes last 60 minutes, with a water break halfway through (so don’t forget your water bottle).
CLOTHING/EQUIPMENT
Your child should come to class wearing comfortable clothes and shoes (a team tshirt will be provided the first week).
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD’S CLASS IS CANCELED DUE TO BAD WEATHER?
We will not have to worry about weather for these sessions, because we have opted to do Tiny Tees inside on our Indoor Turf! We will be on Turf 2 which is located on the right hand side of our complex when you head to the back!
WHAT EXACTLY WILL MY CHILD BE DOING DURING TINY TEES?
What a great question! Our programs are very unique at SportsTown because we focus on the Child Developmental pieces first and foremost when introducing new sports/activities to the younger athletes. In these formative developmental years, we aim for children to learn the fundamentals and the cognitive mapping and fine motor skills that sports, and life will both require! So, our classes may look a little different to you! We will spend the first half of the class focusing on the basics, working on specific skills to hone in on the “how to”; the back half of the class will be used as “game like” scenarios in which the players will be able to take their “at bats” and run the bases and learn to field a ball! Remember, these are 6 and under kids, we cheer on their efforts!
DO PARENTS NEED TO STAY AT THE FACILITY DURING CLASS?
Yes, parents are required to stay within the facility during their child’s class, we do however ask that parents stay out of the playing area during the duration of class! Ages 3-6 is where a child learns their independence and social skills, let them flourish, we guarantee they will come running up to you afterwards to ask if you saw all the cool stuff they did!

Please do not hesitate to talk to your child’s coach or Mackie (our Youth Program Director) if you have any questions about the program or how your child is progressing, this Summer Session is a smaller group of kids (summer vacations etc are still going on), so your child is sure to get one on one coaching and plenty of reps!
