General Manager – Chris Martin

Chris Martin is in his 1st year as General Manager at Allison Sports Town. Chris comes to Allison Sports Town after serving as a Project Manager for two years at Toth and Associates. At Toth and Associates, Chris served as a Project Manager in Land Services working primarily with Umatilla Electric Cooperative in Oregon. 

Chris has coached and worked in athletics for over 15 years, serving in several capacities including coaching and administration. Chris is married to Michelle Martin who works in the Springfield Public Schools Athletic Department, and they are the proud parents of five-year old Tate. 

Marketing Manager – Charlsey Seidel

Charlsey is the Marketing Manager here at AST. She grew up playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, and a little bit of softball. Charlsey proceeded to play college soccer at Evangel University for two years and get her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with minors in Marketing and Management. During her time at EU she had internships with a soccer club back in KC, the NAIA Men’s Division One Basketball Tournament, and the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. These internships and hard work in the classroom led her to receive the Award for Outstanding Student in the Kinesiology Department.

Before joining AST she worked for the Springfield Cardinals for two years as a Community Marketing Coordinator. In her free time, she likes to binge watch “bad” reality TV, hangout with her Mini Dachshund, and read.

Event Coordinator – Jack Pitts

Jack is the event coordinator at Allison Sports Town, where he ensures every event runs smoothly with his enthusiasm and expertise. Previously, he worked in administration at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, gaining valuable experience in managing sports events and interacting with athletes.

Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Southwest Baptist University. His passion for sports and organizational skills drive his success. Outside work, he enjoys hanging out with friends, playing basketball, and fishing with his dad. Jack was born in Princeton, New Jersey, and stands 6’6″. His height and engaging personality make him stand out both professionally and personally.

Programming Director – Tylar Grant

Tylar is a Springfield native who is passionate about athletics and fitness. You may have seen her a few times on the cover of SGF Fit Life Magazine or attended one of her high energy training sessions with – Trainings by T. She graduated from Parkview High school, in addition to earning a volleyball scholarship to Stephens College. She then completed her master’s from MSU, studying Sports Management and Business! She has coached for the Tamales, Apex, Branson Tenacity, Pipkin, Parkview and Central. Her professional experience comes from working in Programming at Missouri State, Interning at Red Line Athletics, serving as the General Manager at Club Pilates, managing hospitality events for the O’Reilly’s and running her own volleyball Personal Training business – Trainings by T. Tylar has a twin sister, has a chocolate chip cookie obsession and loves to work out! Her favorite quote is:

Programming Coordinator/Lil’ Kickers Director – Garrick Allen

Garrick’s role is with our child development program, Lil Kickers. They use a variety of soccer-based programming as a tool to help kiddos develop coordination, confidence, and other fundamental skills. Previously, he worked for several years at Southwest Baptist University which also happens to be where he received his Bachelors in Exercise Science from. Outside of work, Garrick loves spending time with his wife and kids, lifting heavy things, and drinking numerous cups of coffee!

Programming Coordinator – Derek Rowe

Derek Rowe, a native of Paducah, Kentucky, is a driven professional with a passion for sports administration and management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration and a master’s degree in Sports Management, both earned from Missouri State University. Derek’s academic achievements reflect his dedication to the sports industry, where he seeks to leverage his expertise to drive innovation and success. With a strong foundation in both theory and practice, Derek is poised to make significant contributions to the field of sports management.
